Writing
Writing is a pleasurable exercise all in all. It provides a befitting outlet to the thoughts and ruminations of the mind. At the same time, it helps elongate the life of something that is likely to evaporate after a period of time unless committed to paper. It helps explore yourself. It helps empty yourself when you are too full (thought-wise!)(somewhat like the Memory Sieve of Harry Potter movies). It is important to do it on a regular basis though. You have to overcome that laziness as you to do to accomplish noble deeds. The best of thoughts hit you in the least expectant of places - while walking on the road, while travelling in the train, while bathing (now I identify absolutely with Archimedes!). And they fade away from your memory with the same speed with which they hit you. You wouldn't be called too finicky or wierd if you keep some writing material with you at all times. (Constant vigilance!!) Even if you are termed so, atleast that's better than running out naked from the bathtub onto the street!
Writing is just one aspect. It is important to read what you have written over and over again (especially before subjecting others to it). That actually helps in improving your thoughts, thinking.
Another aspect to lend maturity to your writing and for it to continue being content packed inspite of the content being drained out, is to read and continue reading. The matter which flows out should be replaced with matter that should consciously be flown in.
Try to follow this regularly and be ready for surprise compliments for what looks like ordinary and everyday expression of thoughts to you. Happy writing and reading!
